     Caroline Victoria Hutton is the daughter of Rupert Hutton and Patricia Bryant.3 She married, firstly, Matthew Rupert Freud, son of Sir Clement Raphael Freud and June Beatrice Flewett, in 1991.3 She and Matthew Rupert Freud were divorced in 1999.4 She married, secondly, Charles Edward Maurice Spencer, 9th Earl Spencer, son of Edward John Spencer, 8th Earl Spencer and Hon. Frances Ruth Burke Roche, on 15 December 2001.5 She and Charles Edward Maurice Spencer, 9th Earl Spencer were divorced on 24 March 2007 on the grounds of his 'unreasonable behaviour.6'
     From 1991, her married name became Freud. From 15 December 2001, her married name became Spencer. After her marriage, Caroline Victoria Hutton was styled as Countess Spencer on 15 December 2001.
