Alexander Gordon, 3rd Earl of Huntly was the son of George Gordon, 2nd Earl of Huntly and Lady Elizabeth Hay.1,2 He married by contract, firstly, Lady Jean Stewart, daughter of John Stewart, 1st Earl of Atholl and Lady Margaret Douglas, on 14 October 1474.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Gray, daughter of Andrew Gray, 2nd Lord Gray and Janet Keith, after 27 July 1511.3 He died on 21 January 1523/24.1
