     Malcolm Henry Aird was born on 5 November 1899.¹ He was the son of Malcolm Rucker Aird and Nellie Margaret Dummett.¹ He married Joan Meredith Sturgis, daughter of Henry Sturgis, on 17 August 1922.¹ He died on 9 July 1965 at age 65.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the 9th Lancers.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1945.² He was awarded the Officer, U.S. Legion of Honour in 1945.¹

     Malcolm Robin Meredith Aird was born on 16 December 1923.¹ He was the son of Malcolm Henry Aird and Joan Meredith Sturgis.¹ He married, firstly, Irma Spitzer, daughter of Erwin Spitzer, on 12 March 1946.¹ He and Irma Spitzer were divorced in 1955.¹ He married, secondly, Barbara Kathleen Addison Wilson, daughter of John Addison Wilson, on 20 April 1955.¹ He died on 6 April 1999 at age 75.¹
     He was educated at Canford School, Wimborne, Dorset, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Irish Guards.¹

     Irma Spitzer is the daughter of Erwin Spitzer.¹ She married Malcolm Robin Meredith Aird, son of Malcolm Henry Aird and Joan Meredith Sturgis, on 12 March 1946.¹ She and Malcolm Robin Meredith Aird were divorced in 1955.¹
