Humphrey Babington1

     Humphrey Babington was born in 1491.2 He was the son of Sir Thomas Babington and Editha FitzHerbert.1,2 He married Eleanor Beaumont, daughter of Sir John Beaumont.1 He died on 22 November 1544.2
     He lived at Cossington Manor House, Leicester, Leicestershire, England.3

     Sir Thomas Beaumont, Seigneur of Basqueville was born after 1381. He was the son of John de Beaumont, 4th Baron Beaumont and Catherine Everingham.1 He married Philippine Maureward, daughter of Thomas Maureward, in 1426.1 He died in 1457.1
     He held the office of Captain of Château-Gaillard.1 He held the office of Warden of the Cinque Ports.1 He held the office of Constable of Dover Castle.1 He gained the title of Seigneur of Basqueville, in Normandie in 1426.1

     He lived at Cole Orton, Leicestershire, EnglandG.1 He lived at GodebyG.1 He fought in the Battle of Towton on 29 March 1461.1 His estates were forfeited posthumously.1
