     Anna Maria Stuart was born illegitimately in 1773.1 She was the daughter of Colonel William Stuart, 9th Lord Blantyre and Harriet Teasdale.1 She married Thomas Brooke, son of Robert Brooke and Ruth Casson Pattle, on 1 February 1793 at Bhagalpore, IndiaG.2 She died on 30 November 1835.2 She was buried at Widcombe Crescent, Bath, Somerset, EnglandG.1
     From 1 February 1793, her married name became Brooke.1

     He was a Writer with the East India Company Service in 1778.2 He held the office of Senior Judge of the Court of Appeal [Bareilly] between 1808 and 1817.2 He lived at Bath, Somerset, EnglandG.4

     Alexander Stuart, 10th Lord Blantyre was born after 1728. He was the son of Robert Stuart, 7th Lord Blantyre and Margaret Hay.1 He married Catharine Lindsay, daughter of Patrick Lindsay and Margaret Haliburton, on 23 July 1773 at Eaglescairnie, East Lothian, ScotlandG.1 He died on 5 November 1783 at Clifton, Bristol, EnglandG.1
     He succeeded as the 10th Lord Blantyre [S., 1606] on 16 January 1776.1
