     William Douglas, 1st Earl of March was the son of William Douglas, 1st Duke of Queensberry and Lady Isabel Douglas.¹ He married Lady Jane Hay, daughter of John Hay, 1st Marquess of Tweeddale and Lady Jane Scott, on 12 October 1693, by contract.¹ He died on 9 September 1705.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel of Horse.¹ He was created 1st Viscount of Peebles [Scotland] on 20 April 1697.¹ He was created 1st Earl of March [Scotland] on 20 April 1697.¹ He was created 1st Baron Douglas of Neidpath, Lyne and Munard [Scotland] on 20 April 1697.¹ He held the office of Governor of Edinburgh Castle between 1702 and 1704.¹

     John Paulet, 14th Marquess of Winchester was born on 3 June 1801.¹ He was the son of Charles Ingoldsby Paulet, 13th Marquess of Winchester and Anne Andrews.¹ He married Hon. Mary Montagu, daughter of General Henry Montagu, 6th Baron Rokeby and Magdalen Hurley, on 29 November 1855.¹ He died on 4 July 1887 at age 86.¹

Katherine Elizabeth Cochrane.² She married David Wemyss of that Ilk, son of Michael John Erskine Wemyss of that Ilk and Lady Victoria Alexandrina Violet Cavendish-Bentinck, on 21 July 1945.²
     Her married name became Wemyss.

     Edward James Bruce, 14th Earl of Kincardine was born on 8 June 1881.¹ He was the son of Victor Alexander Bruce, 13th Earl of Kincardine and Lady Constance Mary Carnegie.² He married Hon. Katherine Elizabeth Cochrane, daughter of Lt.-Col. Thomas Horatio Arthur Ernest Cochrane, 1st Baron Cochrane of Cults and Lady Gertrude Julia Georgina Boyle, on 5 January 1921.² He died on 27 November 1968 at age 87.¹

     Major Francis Henry Cunnack was born in 1899. He was the son of Francis Henry Cunnack.² He married Hon. Alice Elizabeth Millicent Erskine-Wemyss, daughter of Admiral Rosslyn Erskine Erskine-Wemyss, 1st and last Baron Wester Wemyss and Victoria Morier, on 11 February 1953.¹ He died on 5 January 1974.²
     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery.²

     Karl Reventlow-Criminil, 2nd Graf Reventlow-Criminil married Isabella Harriet Jane Wemyss, daughter of Lt.-Gen. William Wemyss and Lady Isabella Margaret Hay, on 11 May 1859.¹ He died on 10 January 1908.
     He gained the title of 2nd Graf Reventlow-Criminil.

     James Alexander St. Clair-Erskine, 3rd Earl of Rosslyn was born on 15 February 1802.¹ He was the son of James St. Clair-Erskine, 2nd Earl of Rosslyn and Harriet Elizabeth Bouverie.¹ He married Frances Wemyss, daughter of Lt.-Gen. William Wemyss and Frances Erskine, on 10 October 1826.² He died on 16 June 1866 at age 64.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in 1823 in the 9th Light Dragoons.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1828.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)      Caroline Charlotte Binfield was the daughter of Reverend Henry Binfield.¹ She married James Wemyss, son of Hon. James Wemyss of Wemyss and Lady Elizabeth Sutherland, on 6 September 1805.¹ She died on 30 January 1863.¹
