     Philip Jocelyn Newton was born on 23 March 1818.2 He was the son of Walter Newton and Anne Jocelyn.2 He married, firstly, Henrietta Maria Kennedy, daughter of John Kennedy and Marcia Call, on 18 November 1841.2 He married, secondly, Emily Osborne, daughter of Sir Daniel Toler Osborne, 12th Bt. and Lady Harriet Le Poer Trench, on 1 July 1851.2 He died on 20 April 1895 at age 77.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He held the office of High Sheriff in 1846.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)2 He lived at Dunleckney Manor, Bagenalstown, County Carlow, IrelandG.2

     Charles Henry Doyne was born in August 1809.2 He was the son of Robert Doyne and Annette Constantia Beresford.3 He married Georgina Louisa Kennedy, daughter of John Kennedy and Marcia Call, in 1845.2 He died in March 1867 at age 57, without issue.2
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 87th Regiment.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Carlow.2 He lived at St. Austin's Abbey, Tullow, County Carlow, IrelandG.1
