     Sir Robert Throckmorton was born in 1510 at Coughton, Warwickshire, England.3 He was the son of Sir George Throckmorton and Katherine Vaux.4 He married, firstly, Muriel Berkeley, daughter of Thomas Berkeley, 5th Lord Berkeley and Eleanor Constable.4 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Hussey, daughter of John Hussey, 1st Lord Hussey, before 4 July 1544.4 He died on 12 February 1580/81.4,3
     He lived at Coughton, Warwickshire, EnglandG.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Warwickshire in 1553/54.4 He held the office of High Sheriff of Leicestershire in 1553/54.4 He also had two sons by his second wife.4

     Mary Tufton was the daughter of Sir John Tufton, 1st Bt. and Christian Browne.1,2 She married Henry Constable, 1st Viscount Dunbar, son of Sir Henry Constable and Margaret Dormer, circa 1612. She died between 8 April 1659 and 14 June 1659.
     From circa 1612, her married name became Constable.

     Sir John Tufton, 1st Bt. was born in 1544.2 He was the son of John Tufton and Mary Baker.3 He married, firstly, Olympia Blore, daughter of Christopher Blore.2 He married, secondly, Christian Browne, daughter of Sir Humphrey Browne and Ann Hussey, on 10 December 1575.3 He died on 2 April 1624.3
     He held the office of Sheriff of Kent from 1575 to 1576.3 He was created 1st Baronet Tufton, of Hothfield, Kent [England] on 29 June 1611.4

     Elizabeth Darcy, Countess Rivers was born in 1584.3 She was the daughter of Thomas Darcy, 1st Earl Rivers and Mary Kitson.4 She married Thomas Savage, 1st Viscount Savage of Rocksavage, son of Sir John Savage, 1st Bt. and Mary Alington, on 14 May 1602.4 She died on 9 March 1650/51.4
     From 14 May 1602, her married name became Savage. She was created Countess Rivers [England] on 21 April 1641, suo jure.1
