Ruaidhri O'Donnell, 1st Earl of Tyrconnell was born in 1575.2 He was the son of Sir Aodh O'Donnell and Finola Macdonald.3 He married Lady Bridget FitzGerald, daughter of Henry FitzGerald, 2nd/12th Earl of Kildare and Lady Frances Howard, before 1606.1 He died on 30 July 1608.2,4
He held the position of Chief of the Name from between 1602 and 1608.2 He was created 1st Earl of Tyrconnell [Ireland] in 1603.5 In 1603 he resisted English along with his brother and Tyrone but submitted to them, hence was granted his earldom.2 In 1607 He was attainted and deprived of his peerage and estates.2 In September 1607 they left Ireland, in the 'Flight of the Earls.3'

Henry Barnewall, 2nd Viscount Barnewall of Kingsland was the son of Nicholas Barnewall, 1st Viscount Barnewall of Kingsland and Lady Bridget FitzGerald.1 He married, firstly, Hon. Mary Netterville, daughter of John Netterville, 2nd Viscount Netterville and Lady Elizabeth Weston, in 1661.1 He married, secondly, Lady Mary Nugent, daughter of Richard Nugent, 2nd Earl of Westmeath and Mary Nugent, circa 29 November 1664.1 He died on 1 June 1688.1 His will was proven (by probate) on 14 October 1693 at Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.1
He succeeded as the 2nd Baron of Turvey [I., 1646] on 20 August 1663.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Barnewall of Kingsland, in the parish of Donabate, co. Dublin [I., 1646] on 20 August 1663.1 On 17 May 1671 he had a release of the quit rents imposed by the acts of settlement.1 In 1685 he had a grant of lands under the Act of Grace.1

Hon. Mary Netterville was the daughter of John Netterville, 2nd Viscount Netterville and Lady Elizabeth Weston.1 She married Henry Barnewall, 2nd Viscount Barnewall of Kingsland, son of Nicholas Barnewall, 1st Viscount Barnewall of Kingsland and Lady Bridget FitzGerald, in 1661.1 She died on 28 October 1663, without male issue.1 She was buried at LuskeG.1
From 1661, her married name became Barnewall.1 After her marriage, Hon. Mary Netterville was styled as Viscountess Barnewall of Kingsland on 20 August 1663.

John Netterville, 2nd Viscount Netterville was the son of Nicolas Netterville, 1st Viscount Netterville and Eleanor Bathe.2 He married Lady Elizabeth Weston, daughter of Richard Weston, 1st Earl of Portland and Elizabeth Pincheon.2 He died in 1659.2
