He married, secondly, Donata Emma Gräfin zu Castell-Rüdenhausen, daughter of Siegfried Casimir Friedrich Fürst zu Castell-Rüdenhausen and Irene Gräfin zu Solms-Laubach, on 9 February 1991 at Rüdenhausen, Germany^G. He died on 9 July 2017 at age 81 at Merano, Italy.²
