     Alexander von Nassau, Prince of the Netherlands was born on 2 August 1818.¹ He was the son of Willem II Frederik George Lodewijk Prins van Oranje-Nassau Koning der Nederlanden and Anna Pavlovna Romanov, Grand Duchess of Russia. He died on 20 February 1848 at age 29 at Madeira, Portugal^G, unmarried.¹
     He gained the title of Prince Alexander of the Netherlands.² He was given the name of William Alexander Frederick Constantine Nicholas Michael von Nassau at birth.

     Henrik von Nassau, Prince of the Netherlands was born on 13 June 1820.² He was the son of Willem II Frederik George Lodewijk Prins van Oranje-Nassau Koning der Nederlanden and Anna Pavlovna Romanov, Grand Duchess of Russia. He married, firstly, Amelie Marie da Gloria Auguste Prinzessin von Sachsen-Weimar-Eisenach, daughter of Karl Bernhard Prinz von Sachsen-Weimar-Eisenach and Ida Prinzessin von Sachsen-Meiningen, on 19 May 1853 at Weimar, Germany^G.² He married, secondly, Marie Elisabeth Luise Friederike Prinzessin von Preußen, daughter of Friedrich Karl Nikolaus Prinz von Preußen and Marie Anne Prinzessin von Anhalt-Dessau, on 24 August 1878. He died on 14 January 1879 at age 58 at Wolferdingen, Luxemburg^G.²
     He gained the title of Prince Henrik of the Netherlands.¹

     Casimir Ernst von Nassau, Prince of the Netherlands was born on 21 May 1822 at Brussels, Belgium^G.¹ He was the son of Willem II Frederik George Lodewijk Prins van Oranje-Nassau Koning der Nederlanden and Anna Pavlovna Romanov, Grand Duchess of Russia. He died on 22 October 1822 at Brussels, Belgium^G.¹
     He gained the title of Prince Casimir of the Netherlands.¹ He was given the name of William Alexander Frederick Ernest Casimir von Nassau at birth.

     Wilhelmine Marie Sophie Luise von Nassau, Princess of the Netherlands was born on 8 April 1824.¹ She was the daughter of Willem II Frederik George Lodewijk Prins van Oranje-Nassau Koning der Nederlanden and Anna Pavlovna Romanov, Grand Duchess of Russia. She married Karl Alexander August Johann Großherzog von Sachsen-Weimar-Eisenach, son of Karl Friedrich Großherzog von Sachsen-Weimar-Eisenach and Mariya Pavlovna Romanov, Grand Duchess of Russia, on 8 October 1842.¹ She died on 23 March 1897 at age 72 at Weimar, Germany^G.¹
     She gained the title of Princess Sophie of the Netherlands.

     Karl Alexander August Johann Großherzog von Sachsen-Weimar-Eisenach was born on 24 June 1818 at Weimar, Germany^G.¹ He was the son of Karl Friedrich Großherzog von Sachsen-Weimar-Eisenach and Mariya Pavlovna Romanov, Grand Duchess of Russia.¹ He married Wilhelmine Marie Sophie Luise von Nassau, Princess of the Netherlands, daughter of Willem II Frederik George Lodewijk Prins van Oranje-Nassau Koning der Nederlanden and Anna Pavlovna Romanov, Grand Duchess of Russia, on 8 October 1842.¹ He died on 5 January 1901 at age 82 at Weimar, Germany^G.¹
     He gained the title of Prinz von Sachsen-Weimar-Eisenach. He succeeded as the Großherzog Karl Alexander von Sachsen-Weimar-Eisenach on 8 July 1853.¹

     Joachim II Hector Kurfürst von Brandenburg was born on 9 January 1505.¹ He was the son of Joachim I Nestor Kurfürst von Brandenburg and Elizabeth Oldenburg, Princess of Denmark.^1,2 He married, firstly, Magdalen Prinzessin von Sachsen, daughter of Georg Herzog von Sachsen and Barbara Jagiellon, on 6 November 1524. He married, secondly, Hedwig of Poland, Princess of Poland, daughter of Sigismund I, King of Poland and Barbara Zapolya, in 1535.² He died on 3 January 1571 at age 65.
     He succeeded as the Kurfürst von Brandenburg in 1535.²

     Marie Friederike Amelie von Holstein-Gottorp, Herzogin von Oldenburg was born on 21 December 1818 at Oldenburg, Niedersachsen, Germany^G.² She was the daughter of Paul Friedrich August von Holstein-Gottorp, Grand Duke of Oldenburg and Adelheid Prinzessin von Anhalt-Bernburg-Schaumburg-Hoym.¹ She married Otto I Friedrich Ludwig von Bayern, King of the Hellenes, son of Ludwig I König von Bayern and Therese Charlotte Luise Prinzessin von Sachsen-Hildburghausen, on 22 November 1836 at Oldenburg, Niedersachsen, Germany^G.² She died on 20 May 1875 at age 56 at Bamberg, Hessen, Germany^G.² She was buried at Theatinerkirche, Munich, Bavaria, Germany^G.
     She gained the title of Herzogin von Oldenburg.¹

     Leopold I Georg Christian Friedrich, Roi des Belges was born on 16 December 1790 at Coburg, Bayern, Germany^G.³ He was the son of Franz I Friedrich Anton Herzog von Sachsen-Coburg-Saalfeld and Auguste Karoline Sophie Gräfin Reuss zu Lobenstein und Ebersdorf.⁴ He married, firstly, Charlotte Augusta Hanover, Princess of Wales, daughter of George IV Hanover, King of the United Kingdom and Karoline Amelie Elisabeth Prinzessin von Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel, on 2 May 1816 at Carlton House, Carlton House Terrace, St. James's, London, England^G.⁵ He married, secondly, Louise Marie d'Orléans, Princesse d'Orléans, daughter of Louis Philippe I d'Orléans, Roi de France and Maria Amelia Teresa di Borbone, Principessa delle Due Sicilie, on 9 August 1832 at Compiègne, France^G.⁴ He died on 10 December 1865 at age 74 at Château de Laeken, Brussels, Belgium^G.³ He was buried at Château de Laeken, Brussels, Belgium^G.
