     Hilda Madeline Brassey was born on 16 June 1872.¹ She was the daughter of Henry Arthur Brassey and Anna Harriet Stevenson.¹ She married Charles Henry Gordon-Lennox, 8th Duke of Richmond, son of Charles Henry Gordon-Lennox, 7th Duke of Richmond and Amy Mary Ricardo, on 8 June 1893.¹ She died on 29 December 1971 at age 99.¹
     Her married name became Gordon-Lennox. She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Sussex.¹ She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Morayshire.¹ She was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)¹ After her marriage, Hilda Madeline Brassey was styled as Duchess of Richmond and Gordon on 18 January 1928. She was appointed Dame Commander, Order of the British Empire (D.B.E.) in 1946.¹

     Alistair Charles St. Clair Sutherland, 25th Earl of Sutherland was born on 7 January 1947.¹ He is the son of Charles Noel Janson and Elizabeth Millicent Sutherland-Leveson-Gower, 24th Countess of Sutherland.¹ He married, firstly, Eileen Elizabeth Baker, daughter of Richard Wheeler Baker, Jr., on 29 November 1968.¹ He and Eileen Elizabeth Baker were divorced in 1980.¹ He married, secondly, Gillian Murray, daughter of Robert Murray, on 21 March 1980.¹
     He was given the name of Alistair Charles St. Clair Janson at birth.¹ He was styled as Master of Sutherland between 1947 and 1963. He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ In 1963 his name was legally changed to Alistair Charles St. Clair Sutherland.¹ He was styled as Lord Strathnaver between 1963 and 2019. He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was with the Metropolitan Police between 1969 and 1974.¹ He was with IBM (UK) Ltd between 1976 and 1979.¹ He succeeded as the 25th Earl of Sutherland [S., 1235] on 9 December 2019.²

     Eileen Elizabeth Baker is the daughter of Richard Wheeler Baker, Jr. She married Alistair Charles St. Clair Sutherland, 25th Earl of Sutherland, son of Charles Noel Janson and Elizabeth Millicent Sutherland-Leveson-Gower, 24th Countess of Sutherland, on 29 November 1968.¹ She and Alistair Charles St. Clair Sutherland, 25th Earl of Sutherland were divorced in 1980.¹
     Her married name became Sutherland.

     Hon. Martin Dearman Sutherland Janson was born on 7 January 1947.² He is the son of Charles Noel Janson and Elizabeth Millicent Sutherland-Leveson-Gower, 24th Countess of Sutherland.² He married Hon. Mary Ann Balfour, daughter of Harold Harington Balfour, 1st Baron Balfour of Inchrye and Mary Ainslie Profumo, on 14 February 1974.³
     He was given the name of Martin Dearman Janson at birth.² He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.² He gained the rank of officer between 1967 and 1968 in the Royal Horse Guards (Blues.)²

     Lady Annabell Elizabeth Helene Janson was born on 16 May 1952.¹ She is the daughter of Charles Noel Janson and Elizabeth Millicent Sutherland-Leveson-Gower, 24th Countess of Sutherland.¹ She married John Vernon Bainton, son of Richard Bainton, on 29 October 1982.^2,1
     From 29 October 1982, her married name became Bainton.²

     Hon. Matthew Peter Demarest Janson was born on 8 April 1955.¹ He was the son of Charles Noel Janson and Elizabeth Millicent Sutherland-Leveson-Gower, 24th Countess of Sutherland.¹ He died on 5 December 1969 at age 14.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹

     Maidie Florence Kate Constance Hope married Major Charles Humble Ward, son of William Humble Dudley Ward and Hon. Eugenie Violet Adele Brett, on 20 July 1901.¹ She and Major Charles Humble Ward were divorced in 1918.¹ She died on 18 April 1945.¹
     Her married name became Ward.

     Lady Diana Evelyn Percy was born on 23 November 1917.¹ She was the daughter of Alan Ian Percy, 8th Duke of Northumberland and Lady Helen Magdalan Gordon-Lennox.¹ She married John Sutherland Egerton, 6th Duke of Sutherland, son of John Francis Granville Scrope Egerton, 4th Earl of Ellesmere and Lady Violet Lambton, on 29 April 1939.¹ She died on 16 June 1978 at age 60.¹
     From 29 April 1939, her married name became Egerton. After her marriage, Lady Diana Evelyn Percy was styled as Duchess of Sutherland on 24 August 1944.

     Lt.-Col. Hon. Henry Frederick White was born on 1 April 1859.¹ He was the son of Luke White, 2nd Baron Annaly of Annaly and Rathcline and Emily Stuart.¹ He died on 17 August 1903 at age 44, unmarried.¹
     He fought in the Sudan Expedition between 1884 and 1885, where he won a medal with clasp and bronze star.¹ He held the office of Aide-de-Camp and Military Secretary to Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Grenadier Guards.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902, where he won the Queen's medal with three clasps and the King's medal with two clasps, but was also wounded.¹ He fought in the Siege of Mafeking, as part of the relief force.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹
