     Arthur Pole was born circa 1575.1 He was the son of Geoffrey Pole and Catherine Dutton.1 He died on 23 June 1605 at Rome, ItalyG, assassinated.1
     He was educated at Palazzo Farnese, Rome, ItalyG, along with the son of Alessandro Farnese, Duca di Parma.1 He held the office of Lord of the Manor of Walderton, Sussex.1 He was a member of the household of Cardinal Odoardo Farnese.1
