     James Graham, 6th Duke of Montrose was born on 1 May 1878 at 35 Chester Square, Pimlico, London, England^G.¹ He was the son of Douglas Beresford Malise Ronald Graham, 5th Duke of Montrose and Violet Hermione Graham.³ He married Lady Mary Louise Douglas-Hamilton, daughter of William Alexander Louis Stephen Douglas-Hamilton, 12th Duke of Hamilton and Lady Mary Louise Elizabeth Montagu, on 14 June 1906.¹ He died on 20 January 1954 at age 75.⁴

She was the daughter of Alexander Hamilton, 10th Duke of Hamilton and Susan Euphemia Beckford.¹ She married, firstly, Henry Pelham Pelham-Clinton, 5th Duke of Newcastle-under-Lyne, son of Henry Pelham Pelham-Clinton, 4th Duke of Newcastle-under-Lyne and Georgina Elizabeth Mundy, on 27 November 1832 at Hamilton Palace, Hamilton, Scotland^G.¹ She and Henry Pelham Pelham-Clinton, 5th Duke of Newcastle-under-Lyne were divorced on 14 August 1850.¹ She married, secondly, Jean Alexis Opdebeeck on 2 January 1860 at Naples, Italy^G.^2,3 She died on 28 November 1889 at age 75.¹
     From 27 November 1832, her married name became Pelham-Clinton.¹ After her marriage, Lady Susan Harriet Catherine Hamilton was styled as Duchess of Newcastle-under-Lyne on 12 January 1851. From 2 January 1860, her married name became Opdeback.

     Lord Archibald Hamilton was born on 16 March 1769.¹ He was the son of Archibald Hamilton, 9th Duke of Hamilton and Lady Harriet Stewart.¹ He died on 28 August 1827 at age 58, unmarried.¹

     She was also known as Charlotte Douglas Hamilton. From 24 June 1800, her married name became Duchess of Somerset.¹ From 24 June 1800, her married name became St. Maur.

     Edward Adolphus St. Maur, 11th Duke of Somerset was born on 24 February 1775.¹ He was the son of Webb Seymour, 10th Duke of Somerset and Mary Anne Bonnell.³ He married, firstly, Lady Charlotte Hamilton, daughter of Archibald Hamilton, 9th Duke of Hamilton and Lady Harriet Stewart, on 24 June 1800.¹ He married, secondly, Margaret Shaw-Stewart, daughter of Sir Michael Shaw-Stewart of Greenock and Blackhall, 5th Bt. and Catharine Maxwell, on 28 July 1836.⁴ He died on 15 August 1855 at age 80.³

     Lady Susan Hamilton was born on 3 August 1774.¹ She was the daughter of Archibald Hamilton, 9th Duke of Hamilton and Lady Harriet Stewart.¹ She married George Murray, 5th Earl of Dunmore, son of John Murray, 4th Earl of Dunmore and Lady Charlotte Stewart, on 3 August 1803.¹ She died on 24 May 1846 at age 71.¹
     From 3 August 1803, her married name became Lady Murray. After her marriage, Lady Susan Hamilton was styled as Countess of Dunmore on 25 February 1809.

     George Murray, 5th Earl of Dunmore was baptised on 30 April 1762 at Airth, Stirlingshire, Scotland.² He was born before 30 April 1762.¹ He was the son of John Murray, 4th Earl of Dunmore and Lady Charlotte Stewart.³ He married Lady Susan Hamilton, daughter of Archibald Hamilton, 9th Duke of Hamilton and Lady Harriet Stewart, on 3 August 1803.¹ He died on 11 November 1836 at age 74.³
     He succeeded as the 5th Earl of Dunmore [S., 1686] on 25 February 1809.³ He succeeded as the 5th Viscount of Fincastle [S., 1686] on 25 February 1809.³ He succeeded as the 5th Lord Murray of Blair, Moulin and Tillemot [S., 1686] on 25 February 1809.³ He was created 1st Baron Dunmore, in the Forest of Atholl, co.
