     Mary de Monthermer was born in 1298.2 She was the daughter of Ralph de Monthermer, Earl of Gloucester and Joan of Acre.3,1 She married Duncan MacDuff, 8th Earl of Fife, son of Duncan MacDuff, 7th Earl of Fife, after 1306.2 She died after 1371.2

Ralph de Monthermer, Earl of Gloucester1

     Ralph de Monthermer, Earl of Gloucester married Joan of Acre, daughter of Edward I 'Longshanks', King of England and Eleanor de Castilla, Comtesse de Ponthieu, before 2 August 1297, without her father's consent, although this was pardoned on 2 August 1297. He died on 5 April 1325.
     He gained the title of 1st Baron Monthermer.1 He gained the title of Earl of Gloucester.2 He was created 1st Earl of Atholl [Scotland] on 12 October 1306, conferred on him by King Edward I, after forfeiting it from John of Strathbogie.3 He abdicated as Earl of Atholl between 21 August 1307 and 20 May 1308 for the price of 5,000 marks in favour of David of Strathbogie, son of the late John of Strathbogie.3

Margaret Graham, Countess of Menteith1

     Margaret Graham, Countess of Menteith was born before 1334.2 She was the daughter of Sir John Graham and Mary Stewart, Countess of Menteith.2 She married, firstly, Sir John Moray, Lord of Bothwell, son of Sir Andrew Moray of Bothwell, after 21 November 1348.2 She married, secondly, Thomas, 9th Earl of Mar, son of Donald, 8th Earl of Mar and Isabella Stewart, between 15 August 1352 and 29 May 1354.2 She and Thomas, 9th Earl of Mar were divorced before February 1358/59.2 She married, thirdly, Sir John Drummond circa 1359.2 She married, fourthly, Robert Stewart, 1st Duke of Albany, son of Robert II Stewart, King of Scotland and Elizabeth Mure of Rowallan, after 9 September 1361, by Papal dispensation.2 She died between 20 July 1372 and 4 May 1380.3 She was buried at Inchmahone Priory, Perthshire, ScotlandG.2
     From after 21 November 1348, her married name became Moray. Her married name became Erskine. After her marriage, Margaret Graham, Countess of Menteith was styled as Countess of Mar after 1354. From 1359, her married name became Drummond. She succeeded as the Countess of Menteith on 29 April 1360, suo jure.1 From after 9 September 1361, her married name became Stewart.
