     Enrique I, Rey de Castilla was born on 14 April 1204.2 He was the son of Alfonso VIII, Rey de Castilla and Eleanor Plantagenet.2 He married Mafalda de Portugal, daughter of Sancho I de Bourgogne, Rei de Portugal and Dulcia de Provence, in 1215. He died in 1217.1
     He succeeded as the Rey Enrique I de Castilla in 1214.1 His marriage to Mafalda de Portugal was annulled before 1217.1

     Afonso II de Bourgogne, Rei de Portugal also went by the nick-name of Afonso 'the Fat'.4 He succeeded as the Rei Afonso II de Portugal in 1211.4
