  Meanwhile in Dublin we barely have any `02 ALX400s left (pretty much two units are in service constantly, AV279 and AV282 out of Harristown garage) and they`re on sale along with 52 units from 2003 and the only 10 non-Volvo engined buses in the fleet right now - 2003 Dennis Tridents with ALX400 bodywork.
  Replacement? Another 100 brand new Volvo B5TL cars with Wrights Eclipse Gemini bodywork, most likely II gen. bodywork as Dublin Bus are heavy on parts unification and despite 270 cars with II gen. bodywork they probably still wouldn`t go for III gen. (I mean, look at it, they bought 659 buses with ALX400 bodywork over seven years). DB are also getting rid of their last three Volvo B6BLE / Wrights Renown units and replacing them with two StreetLites with Mercedes engines - although clearly there could well be use for probably ca. sixteen across the city and not just two.
