Yes - all fleet numbers are just in Arabic, of course. Only Alexandria trams have both Arabic and English numbers.
It's not rocket science to learn ten signs, which are quite similar to Latin anyway. @Dave: but the routes ARE colour-coded (at least nominally): yellow turns left at Roxy, red goes to Nozha (I think), and green (or blue?) goes past Planet Africa (where you found the 19th Century Krupp rails), and the fourth route goes (or used to go?) to Suez Road.
Afterall, we call our digit system "the Arabic digits"
