How many displays can be connected to Mac Studio?
The number of external displays that you can use at the same time depends on your Mac model and the resolution and refresh rate of each display.
Mac Studio (2023) with M2 Ultra
Using a hub or daisy-chaining displays doesn't increase the maximum number of displays that you can connect. Connect the display with the highest resolution first.
Mac Studio (2023) with M2 Max
Mac Studio (2023) models with the M2 Max chip support up to five external displays simultaneously, based on the resolution (up to 8K) and refresh rate (up to 240Hz) of each external display. You can connect displays to the Thunderbolt 4 ports and HDMI port on the back of the computer.
The two USB-C ports on the front of Mac Studio (2023) with M2 Max don't support external display connections.
