In total during the Call for Fall 2017 we received 701 applications for the exchange in 61 partner universities from 343 BA, MA and Doctoral students (HSE campuses in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Perm and Nizhny Novgorod).

HSE Students in All Fields of Study Can Now Choose Exchange Programmes in China

HSE and East-China Normal University (ECNU) have signed a new student exchange agreement expanding the range of opportunities for student mobility in all areas of studies, including social studies, humanities, and philosophy, as well as computer science, mathematics, and physics. The agreement was signed as part of the ECNU delegation’s visit headed by Tong Shijun, chairman of the ECNU University Council, to HSE.

HSE Signed Student Exchange Agreement with University of Lugano

According to this agreement, each party sends up to 6 students during an academic year for semester-long study from HSE master’s programmes: ‘International Business’, ‘Strategic Corporate Finance’,  and ‘Political Analysis and Public Policy’, and from USL master’s programmes: Management, Corporate Communication, Marketing, Finance, Banking and Finance, and Economic Policy for participation in the exchange programme.

Linguistics School Students’ Expedition to Guatemala

Linguistics School Students’ Expedition to Guatemala
Elizaveta Vostokova and Alexandra Kozhukhar, students at the School of Linguistics, took part in the expedition to Guatemala in June 2016. The event was organized by the University of Maryland and was dedicated to research into the Kaqchikel Maya people. The expedition was led by Maria Polinsky, Professor of Linguistics, Omer Preminger, Assistant Professor in the Department of Linguistics, and  Pedro Mateo, Assistant Research Professor at the Maryland Language Science Center. During the first two weeks of the expedition, the participants studied the Kaqchikel language, the rest of the time they spent working with native speakers.
