Welcome

[change]

Hello, CarsracBot, and welcome to the Simple English Wiktionary!

We hope you will be happy editing here. Some helpful pages to begin with are Wiktionary:Community Portal, Wiktionary:Useful, Help:Contents, Wiktionary:Rules, and Wiktionary:How to edit.

If you want to talk with other members or ask a question, you can visit Wiktionary:Simple talk. Administrators can also help you with more difficult problems. You can also ask me for help. The best way to do that is to leave a message on my talk page. Just remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing "~~~~" (four tildes) at the end of your words.

Good luck and happy editing!--Brett 10:38, 26 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

This user is a bot run by Carsrac (talk).

It is used for helping to make many small changes that would take a long time for a person to do alone.
Administrators: if this bot isn't working right or doing bad things, please block it.

Please stop editing

[change]

Hi there. Please stop editing on the Simple English Wiktionary, as your bot has the same problems as other bots. It recently removed a valid link to kn:English from the article English, as well as mess up the iws in [[Category:Verbs]]. User:Interwicket is sufficient for our needs at this point in time. Thanks, Razorflame 20:37, 6 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Actually, all the bot operator needs to do is run with the -wiktionary parameter. Regards, Maximillion Pegasus (talk) 20:38, 6 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
I ran my own bot with the -wiktionary parameter and it still made incorrect changes. Interwicket is the best Interwiki bot for the Wiktionaries. Trust me. Razorflame 20:55, 6 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
I've blocked your bot for a period of one week because it is still making the same mistakes that it was earlier. Please either fix these mistakes or stop having your bot edit here because we cannot afford to have a bot that makes mistakes running on the Simple English Wiktionary. Thank you, Razorflame 21:22, 8 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Bot status

[change]

Hello! I've grated this bot the bot status on this wiki. All the "recent" edits look fine for me (I reviewed most of the last 100 changes). -Barras talk 08:23, 14 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
