Jaigaon is a census town in Alipurduar subdivision of Alipurduar district in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is located on the border of India and Bhutan. Bhutan Gate separates the two countries. Phuentsholing is the nearest city in Bhutan to Jaigaon. Bhutan does not have roads linking to all its towns. The roads through Jaigaon are often used to reach places such as Samtse, Gomtu, Nganglam and Samdrup Jongkhar.
