Waukesha, Wisconsin

Waukesha (/ˈwɔːkɪʃɔː/) is a city in and the county seat of Waukesha County, Wisconsin, United States. It is part of the Milwaukee metropolitan area. Its population was 71,158 at the 2020 census.[1] From 1846 to 1847, the city was called Prairieville.[2] In 2021, six people were killed in a vehicle-ramming attack.
