Jesse Leonard Steinfeld
United States Surgeon general (1927-2014)
Jesse Leonard Steinfeld (6 January 1927 – 5 August 2014) was an American physician and public health official. He was appointed the eleventh Surgeon General of the United States from 1969 to 1973.
