Their beautiful home life and happiness impresses Doris so, that she determines to seek happiness herself by going among strangers. She secures a position in a department store and thereby meets Dan Hunter, a young farmer who purchases some merchandise from her. Dan is smitten with Doris' charms, and she immediately conceives an intense admiration for the stalwart young farmer. Dan invites her to take a vacation on his farm, where his mother lives.
