Situated one mile from the Porter Ranch neighborhood of Los Angeles, most residents were unaware of the fracking activity taking place. Similar leaks occurred at the Whistler Junction gas transfer facility in Eight Mile, Alabama and in Dimock Township, Pennsylvania. Exploring the connection between these incidents and the fracking gas boom, the documentary examines the impact of fracking on these communities and highlights how the spread of fracking is effecting people's health, air and water pollution, and the landscape itself.
