After his wife is tragically killed by a drunk driver, Mino seeks refuge in an old habit of his, alcoholism. After some time, Mino begins having imagined conversations with his deceased wife, Flor. The heavier he drinks, the more real the visions become. At one point Mino wakes from a drunken stupor to find his son Eddie is laying unconscious on the kitchen floor. Fearing the worst, Mino frantically shakes Eddie awake, Eddie whispers he drank the liquor because he hoped to talk to his mother. See less
