Limited facilities for me, it does not upload manually, yes it's free with prime but it uploads a mixed folder of pictures, videos and GIFs, too much work to sort out into folders if you have a lot of pictures once uploaded pictures and videos, are a jumbled up mess as its automatically upload, Uninstalling due to above and more, unless I'm missing something I don't see how this is a useful clowd storage system!

Amazon Prime gives free photo storage, and you can set it up to auto-sync so you'll never lose your pics. Works well on Pixel 8a. My last phone would put the app into deep sleep so syncing wouldn't work (the timing was bad too since my SD card malfunctioned at the same time and I lost a bunch of pictures). Make sure you're phone doesn't put the app to sleep :)

I have been a Prime member for years and got a message that I needed to take advantage of this photo app. After I went to back up my photos and videos, the video storage was only a little over half of the five gigabyte capacities, but it stopped uploading the last seven videos altogether less than one gig, and nothing I did helped. Went on Reddit and discovered it was a ploy by Amazon to sell their 100 gigabyte storage subscription. My Google backup stored everything fine. Big disappointment!

What's new
We’ve updated our app to make it easier to revisit your favourite memories. Tap the smile icon to find your account info and customise Fire TV & Echo Show screens. Tap the paper aeroplane to share memories with friends and family. With this update, you’ll only see photos and videos that have been uploaded, so you’ll know exactly what’s been saved to Amazon Photos.
