Beta milestone requirements:
- Codex replaces WVUI in production on Readers Web (first release: v1.0.0.beta.1)
- Codex is available to WMDE for use on Wikidata.
- Feedback from Readers Web and WMDE is addressed.
- There is a sustainable QA workflow in place for Codex.
- Tokens are complete from a design standpoint.
- Design Systems Team engineers test tokens internally in Codex.
- RTL design documentation is complete.
- Codex documentation undergoes design review.
Incremental beta releases will be made in response to feedback (beta.2, beta.3, etc.). There is the potential for other early-adopting teams to use Codex, but we are not promoting production usage at this time. Please reach out to us in advance if you are interested in testing Codex!
