.tr is the country code tld (domain extension) for Turkey not for the language. The Wikimedians of Turkic Languages User Group is a language based international group from different countries; therefore i can assure that Turkic Languages Group is not interested in using a country based domain.

Adding {{coord}} template to article in relevant language seems to solve the problem. Pages that have {{coord}} templates within Infoboxes, are not included in the API query result therefor not displayed on map, neither the ones with coordinates available on wikidata.

We used to override the logo. (not sur if Korean Wikipedia solution is similar) It was suggested that it's not so efficient.
