As requested by @Ranjithraj, I am creating this ticket to propose the implementation of video chapters for Wikimedia Commons.

Video Chapters allow videos to be divided into sections, each with a preview. They enhance the viewing experience by providing context and making it easier to navigate to specific parts of a video. Creators can manually add chapters for their uploads or opt for automatic video chapters, which may also appear in the video transcripts. Creators can choose to disable automatic chapters if desired.

Reason for Request for the project: Indian Movies in Public Domain.
This feature will be especially beneficial for labeling and organizing video songs from movies.
