Feature summary: Add code to iOS app to better enable adding short descriptions without abrogating redirects; it would automatically insert the short description tag BELOW the redirect rather than above. Alternately, lock or selectively omit the “add short description” feature if there are redirects.

Use case(s): I get occasional messages warning me to exercise caution with adding short descriptions, but the problem is I’d have to open “edit introduction” to view the edit page and check for any warnings. This is very inconvenient

Benefits: My proposal would be a fairly large undertaking code-wise, but it would really help ensure every Wikipedia article would be able to receive a short description without overriding redirects
