Bogus e-mail notification: page changed.

Description

I got an e-mail notification about a wiki page having been changed, but there are no details in the message, and the page history does not "now" of a change at that time by that user:

Dear Purodha,

The Meta page VisualEditor/Newsletter/2016/June has been changed on
2016 July 16 by Chrumps, see
https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/VisualEditor/Newsletter/2016/June for
the current revision.

Editor's summary: -

There will be no other notifications in case of further ....
