Dynamically Reconfigurable Photonic Resources for Optically Connected Data Center Networks

Abstract

A modular, traffic-adaptable data center network architecture leveraging unique reconfigurable optical functionalities is presented. Optical multicasting and subnet formation is demonstrated between four ports at up to 80 Gb/s per port.
