Wikiclubs with different schools in Albania

Summary: Since September 2022, WoALUG has created 4 wiki clubs with the support and collaborations of high schools in Elbasan and Tirana in Albania.

Social Media channels or hashtags: Telegram channel Facebook Page, Twitter, Instagram.

Wikimedians of Albanian Language User Group (WoALUG) first organize an information session to have a better overview of the Education program for school teachers and students. Then, we establish formal wiki clubs based on their interests and personal development.

This year, we have noticed teachers involved in teaching Wikimedia tools and relating Wikipedia with their school projects.

Statistics from all the wiki clubs members in all schools from September 2022 until now are as below:

Arianiti High School Wiki club with 20 participants, Elbasan Albania

Wikipedia: 25 articles created, and 52 articles edited; Wikidata: 41 total revisions

Vasil Kamami High School Wiki club with 14 participants, Elbasan Albania

Wikipedia: 18 articles created, and 24 articles edited

Luigh Gurakuqi High School, a newly created wiki club in February 2023, Elbasan Albania

Wikipedia: 1 article created, and 6 articles edited

Protagonists School in Tirana Albania, a newly created wiki club in February 2023

Wikipedia: 1 article created, and 15 articles edited
