URl

edit

For decesed members the URL is http://www.nasonline.org/member-directory/deceased-members/$1.html For example http://www.nasonline.org/member-directory/deceased-members/58330.html --Gerwoman (talk) 14:37, 29 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

I replaced the URL formatter with a search on their website, which should be able to find both types. Ghouston (talk) 01:37, 18 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Not Working

edit

The Formatter URL it's not working, it simply sends you to the search query website of the NAS and not to the actual profile of the person.--BugWarp (talk) 12:25, 21 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

The link to the search results isn't bringing up the links anymore. I'm not sure how to fix it, in a way that will allow linking to both living and deceased members. Ghouston (talk) 01:05, 5 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
Could do it via an external search engine, like https://duckduckgo.com/?q=55843+site%3Dhttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.nasonline.org%2Fmember-directory%2F&t=canonical&ia=web, but not really ideal. Ghouston (talk) 01:09, 5 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
I think another property should be created, like IMDB name and IMDB title. And add another mask for it: http://www.nasonline.org/member-directory/deceased-members/$1.html @Ghouston: what do you think? --12:27, 16 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

No longer works

edit

Seems that this identifier no longer works. Links using the identifier are taken to the directory, and each member has a new URL that is not reached directly via their old identifier. For the example of Charles Marcus, http://www.nasonline.org/member-directory/members/20044134.html, the former identifier URL, now leads to the member directory page, and his specific profile is located at https://www.nasonline.org/directory-entry/charles-m-marcus-wun7os/. See above. Reported since 2019. If this identifier is no longer useful, you can take it to wikidata:Properties for deletion. To propose a new property for the new identifiers, try wikidata:Property proposal — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 09:35, 11 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
