Steve Allen leads the X-ray Astronomy and Observational Cosmology (XOC) group on campus, which has interests spanning the astrophysics of galaxies and galaxy clusters, accretion onto black holes, studies of dark matter and dark energy, and the development of detectors for future X-ray satellite missions. Steve also leads the LSST Science Department at SLAC.
