Mycotoxina

Un mycotoxina (del grec μύκης mykes 'fungo' e τοξικός toxicikos 'toxic') es un metabolito secondari toxic producite per fungos.[1][2]

Exemplos de mycotoxinas causante maladias human o animal include: aflatoxina (es), citrinina (es), fumonisina (es), ochratoxina A (ca), patulina (es), trichotheceno (en), zearalenona (es) e ergotamina (es).[3][4]

Un specie de mucor pote producir differente mycotoxinas e plure species pote producir le mesme mycotoxina.[5]

Carcinogenic mycotoxinas son presente in alimentos, supertoto farina e ris.[6][7]
