Center for Business & Industry (CBI): Northampton Community College's Center for Business & Industry (CBI) assists individuals and organizations in achieving personal and professional goals. Through leadership development and expert guidance in management and continuous improvement, they offer tailored on-campus and virtual learning opportunities to suit specific organizational needs and schedules. Cornerstones of Community Committee: The Cornerstones of Community Committee at Lehigh University is comprised of representatives from Human Resources, Office of Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity, Equal Opportunity Compliance & Title IX, International Affairs, and Student Affairs. This group was formed in 2019 to work collaboratively and bring together courses, programs and experiences with a focus around Lehigh’s Principles of our Equitable Community.
Employee Relations Advisory Committee (ERAC): The Employee Relations Advisory Committee (ERAC) at Lehigh University is a team of elected exempt and non-exempt staff members, working together to help advance the interests of our colleagues around campus. They strive to make the Lehigh community as collegial as possible, ensuring that their dedication, enthusiasm and professional experience is recognized across the university. ERAC provides learning opportunities throughout they year in the form of Knowledge @ Noon sessions and Staff Development Day.
Institute for Indigenous Studies (IIS): The Institute for Indigenous Studies (IIS) collaborates with Indigenous communities to address health and education needs using culturally appropriate research methodologies. Their mission includes initiatives on tobacco addiction, mental health, environment, obesity, maternal-child health, youth suicide prevention, speech and language acquisition, college prep, COVID-19, Indigenous identity, grant writing, research training, and cultural education programs.
Library and Technology Services (LTS): At Lehigh University, Library and Technology Services (LTS) provides expertise in a wide range of topics and tools such as artificial intelligence, data visualization, teaching and learning, library resources/research & digital scholarship, programming/programming tools, campus-supported applications, research computing, cybersecurity, and more. Lehigh University Art Galleries (LUAG): Lehigh University Art Galleries (LUAG), is a FREE art museum located on Lehigh's campus that cares for a collection of 20,000+ objects from diverse cultures and time periods, including 50+ outdoor sculptures. LUAG presents a variety of FREE public programs annually that range from lectures and symposia to hands-on artmaking experiences and workshops that foster meaningful encounters with art and ideas. Lehigh Valley Association of Independent Colleges (LVAIC): Since 1969, the Lehigh Valley Association of Independent College’s success has been founded on the principle of collaboration. This unique consortium, one of the oldest in the country, consists of 6 member colleges and universities in the Lehigh Valley, as well as 6 associate member institutions in the eastern Pennsylvania region. LVAIC offers professional development opportunities for faculty and staff to enhance skills, leadership, and knowledge. Their programs include workshops, leadership training, and networking to support career growth within a collaborative, community learning environment.
Office of Diversity, Inclusion & Equity (ODIE): The Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Equity was created with the hiring of the inaugural Vice President for Equity & Community in February of 2017. The office is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive plan to enhance and build on Lehigh’s efforts to advance its commitment to a more diverse and inclusive campus. We do this through strategic planning, training, education and research, community relations, policy development and communications.
