Hello everyone,
We’d like to invite you to register for the following events in December. We hope to see you there!
December 7th: Cooking Up Classification in Earth Engine
Creating a land cover classification is much like creating your own recipe in the kitchen -- you get to decide the different amounts of different ingredients (you determine the training samples from your various input data), and then you iterate until you have a dish that looks (and tastes) right. In this cooking class, we’ll introduce you to image classification in Earth Engine: we’ll review the different types of input data, the various classifiers, and demonstrate how to get started with your first classification. Register
here.
December 15th: Overview of the Geo Data Upload Program
The
Geo Data Upload Program allows geospatial data providers to submit their core data files to Google Maps through this web portal. This program focuses on core features: roads, addresses, points of interests, political boundaries. Please join us to learn more about adding your authoritative data to Google Maps. Register
here.
Regards,
Raleigh Seamster, on behalf of the Google Earth Outreach team
