I work as a research software engineer collaborating with research-oriented companies and universities on R&D projects involving the development of modeling languages, tooling, algorithms, middleware & applications for large-scale integration and decision guidance analytics in the domain of digital engineering and smart manufacturing. Since 2005, I've worked different roles in the areas of software development, research and education. I obtained my PhD degree in 2021 from the Department of Computer Science at George Mason University under the supervision of Professor Alexander Brodsky after successfully defending my doctoral dissertation titled, Grey-Box Optimization Algorithms for Decision Guidance Analytics Management Systems.
Research
My current research interests include:
-
Provably and empirically efficient grey-box optimization, uncertainty quantification and training algorithms that combine techniques from mathematical programming, numerical analysis, machine learning and artificial intelligence
-
Languages, ontologies, knowledge graphs and middleware for large-scale semantic integration and decision guidance analytics in the domain of digital engineering and smart manufacturing
