<p>This specification defines algorithm encodings and representations enabling the Standards for Efficient Cryptography Group (SECG) elliptic curve "secp256k1" to be used for JSON Object Signing and Encryption (JOSE) and CBOR Object Signing and Encryption (COSE) messages. </p>
