Python 3.12 unsupported #105

Failed to build qiskit-aer
ERROR: Could not build wheels for qiskit-aer, which is required to install pyproject.toml-based projects

Steps to reproduce:
run this in any of system
pip install qiskit-iqm

Which Python version are you using? We were able to reproduce the error on Python 3.12, which is not yet officially supported.

Can you try the installation on Python 3.11?

Yes You are right @smite
I was able to install qiskit-iqm with Python 3.11
but it would be nice if we make qiskit-iqm compatible with Python 3.12
This issue will now be open as feature request issue.

Thank you for pointing our attention to the desire for Python 3.12 support. It has been added to our backlog SW-385.
