With the rising popularity of htmx, partial html responses are seeing a revival.

In jinja or rather pongo2 you {% extends "filename" %} where those blocks are defined and returns the whole rendered thing.
I hope it's understood what I mean.

Instead of this behavior, I'd like to render only a certain {% block name %}.

Is it possible to say "don't use extend and render only the block named name"?

This is possible with the standard template engine of Go.
