Is conda limited to Python? And what is the advantage over installing from CRAN/r-universe? |
I have no idea about how the conda verse works i thought it was only for python too 🤔 |
Such a common misconception! You are not alone. It doesn't help that the RStudio company won't get on board. Conda started as an alternative to pip. Now it is a full-fledged package manager for any software whatsoever. Honestly, in the professional world, almost everyone is using it.
