Describe the bug
h5stat command-line tool does not seem to have a specific option for virtual file drivers. For an HDF5 file in AWS S3 one must use the --s3-cred option. This is different than h5dump or h5ls.

Expected behavior
Adopt a unified set of command-line options when working with HDF5 files in S3 for all the tools.

Platform (please complete the following information)

  • HDF5 version from development branch, commit f8069fa.
  • macOS Sonoma 14.5
  • clang 15.0.7
  • CMake 3.30.0
