Ignacio is a brilliant engineer who is totally unafraid of new, exotic programming environments. He was instrumental in executing my strategy to bring battle-hardened JavaScript frameworks such as Apollo GraphQL and React Native into the Roblox Lua runtime, the result of which was an 80% reduction in crashes and a doubling of performance. Ignacio ported Apollo GraphQL, React Native, and Jest line-by-line and made even the trickiest async Promise code pass tests consistently. He then did groundbreaking work on an automated tool to translate TypeScript into strongly-typed Lua code, making updates to upstream releases fully automated in 90% of cases. His direct technical contributions were of the highest quality, and dramatically uplifted both the bottom line and team culture. I would absolutely hire him again.

Nacho is one of the strongest engineers I've ever had the pleasure to work with. He is a technology enthusiast and a true polyglot when it comes to JavaScript. My main work with Nacho was on a single client project where he was enabling JavaScript tooling and libraries for the client's target language set. He was able to convert 100+k lines of upstream source to the target language and build tooling around the conversion to automate it for consistent translation and upkeep. Nacho always delivered on time and was able to meet the client's deadlines with little oversight. Nacho's peers would describe him as extremely knowledgable and dependable as he's able to face any hurdle from requirements gathering to releases heads on. Leading Nacho was low maintenance as he would always provide me with the key information needed and alert me to upcoming considerations that would need attention so I was always able to be proactive with him, the team, and our clients. Nacho is an extremely reliable and dependable engineer. I worked with him for nearly 5 years across several projects. Nacho is at home in any technology, but I've worked with him on Angular and LitElement projects. Nacho is always playing with the latest technologies and then sharing what he learns with his peers. He makes the people around him better. Nacho consistently meets his commitments and is capable of delivering high-quality features, even when the requirements are vague and incomplete. Every engineer that has worked with Nacho from juniors to senior architects holds him in high regard because of his knowledge and capabilities, and they come to him with their hardest problems. I have had the pleasure of working with Nacho for many years. Nacho is one of the special developers out there that is able to work on really hard problems and do it really well.
