1. (chemistry) Nitrogen gas that has been frozen, by cooling it to extremely low temperatures, resulting in a crystalline structure similar to regular ice but consisting of nitrogen molecules instead of water molecules.
2. (cooking) A type of ice cream prepared by flash freezing a liquid mixture with liquid nitrogen.
