Usage notes
editIt's a common joke among USP students to use the acronym as some kind of affix to anything related to the university. Examples include BUSP (from busão), the bus service that takes students between the campi, the bakery USPão (from pão), the CRUSP accommodations (initialism of Conjunto Residencial) and the USPapel stationery (from papel). There's an ongoing campaign to change the university hospital's name to USPital.
