Should we indicate explicitly that in the top three definitions, the phrasing is always "see through [X]", and in the bottom three, it is always "see [X] through", or are the use examples sufficient? Soap 09:17, 30 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Anyway I handled this by writing it in the Usage notes. As for what got my attention, I remember reading somewhere that an H. G. Wells book, Mr. Britling Sees it Through, was translated into French with the title M. Britling y Voit Clair, which was considered to be a mistake because in English "see through it" and "see it through" are completely different concepts. Soap 17:20, 8 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
